WE WILL UPDATE THIS LIST PERIODICALLY. THANK YOU FOR PRAYING WITH AND FOR US!!

Thanksgivings:

- Rockford Partners for Excellence, which grew out of our fall reconciliation training, is going strong. We have been very well received by all we have met with in the West Middle School community, the place we believe God has called us first to put our training to work. We are there to serve. It is so exciting

- Our board meetings are at last both regular and well attended! That is so necessary. And we continue to look for additional members, especially younger members.

- The opportunities to impact the community, to build bridges, to open doors, are coming to us at a staggering rate! I can't keep up some days. I think it is the fruit of long time prayer, faith, and action in the same direction

Requests:

- Keep our board in your prayers. I know that the enemy wants us to be distracted and impotent, and I know God wants us focussed and powerful. Pray for protection and blessing for members and their families. Board meets every 2nd Wednesday at noon.

- The doors are open for clergy cooperation right now. Pray that we will help to bring them together lovingly across the things that have held them apart.

- We are engaged in efforts to assist Rockford Public Schools in a variety of ways: RPE mentioned above, Allignment Rockford, clergy forums. This is an area we can all work on together. Besides the benefit to the schools, it holds real promise for breaking down the divisions between churches and clergy

- Wouldn't do to not ask you to remember our finances. We are in a better place this year than last at this time. Pray that individuals and congregations would be led to support us.

- The doors also continue to open at the YMCA. Pray that would continue, and we would be wise in the stewardship of the confidense and support we receive there. I believe God is doing a mighty work in Y's all over the world, and we are blessed to be part of that. Pray that the team of members that have agreed to work on this would be strong, of one mind, passionate, and gracious.

- Pray for the many young ministers that are taking up the reins of leadership for ministry in our community. It is exciting! Pray for their protection, provision, refreshment, support. Pray that I will pour into them as God gives opportunity.

- Pray for me, that I will be balanced, strengthened, compassionate, persevearing- that I will willingly and lovingly do all God calls me to do.

Thanks again for your prayers and support. Let me know how we can pray for YOU!

A bridge builders prayer

Dear Jesus,

We thank you that you love us more than we can know or understand. We thank you that your love built a bridge, through your death and resurrection, to our Father in heaven and our eternal home. We are bound together in our love for you.

Please help us to be bridge builders too, for the Body of Christ- the Church. Let your love and Spirit in us work to build bridges between all creeds, cultures, races, and groups. So that we will be be a clear reminder that we are all one in the family of God. We ask this in Your Holy Name. Amen
